Instructions for charging electric cars at EcoFast charging stations

For first-time users of the charging station service, please start from step 1.

For customers using the charging station service on subsequent occasions, please open the app and start from step 3.

The information for charging an electric car at EcoFast charging stations includes 10 detailed steps as follows:

Detailed instructions

Step 1

Log in to EcoFast app

You download the EcoFast Charge application at CH Play (Android) or App Store (iOS)

Step 2

Sign up for an account

Account registration instructions here

Step 3

Search the charging point of your choice and navigate to it using the direction provided in the app

Start charging and monitor the charging process on the app screen

Step 4

Park the car in the charging position and open the charging compartment on the car

Step 5

Pull the charging gun from the post and plug it into the charging socket on the car

Step 6

Top up prepaid service into account

Step 7

Use the QR Code scanning application on the charging pillar screen to connect the charging pillar to the vehicle

Step 8

Start charging session

You can monitor the details of the car charging process such as battery percentage (%), time, capacity and charging amount,... on the application screen.

Step 9

End of charging session

The charging session will end when the battery is fully charged or when it reaches the desired charging status and battery level.

The charging session summary will appear on the application screen. The used charging station service fee will be deducted from the account balance (my wallet).

Note: The system automatically disconnects the charging current when the vehicle is fully charged. However, the connection signal between the vehicle and the charging station is still on. If from the 16th minute after the battery is full, the customer has not finished the charging session and left the charging station, the system will start charging an overtime charging fee (VND 1,000/minute, including VAT).

Step 10

Remove the charging gun from the vehicle, close the vehicle charging compartment cover and insert the charging gun back into the charging compartment of the charging post.

You have completed charging your electric car at the EcoFast charging station.

Safety Notes

1. Comply with regulations and instructions for charging electric cars at EcoFast charging stations.

2. Do not move the vehicle while the charging gun is still plugged into the vehicle.

3. Return the rechargeable gun immediately after charging. Do not place the gun on the ground or leave it in the wrong place to avoid the gun getting wet, which can lead to fire or explosion or reduce its durability and inherent functionality.

4. Do not charge if the battery is found to be defective.

5. Move the vehicle into the parking space with the charging post installed, the 2 wheels do not exceed the blocking edge to ensure no collision with the charging device.

6. Do not pull the cord from the charging post outside the parking space, charging can only be done in the parking space, the charging post screen is in the main screen state.

7. Do not charge the battery when detecting abnormalities around or at the charging post: The post is excessively dented, the base of the post has unsafe elements such as solutions or vapors, chemicals,...

8. Before removing the charging gun from the charging post, check the appearance of the charging gun. If you find any abnormalities such as: The charging gun head is cracked, broken, deformed, rusty, dirty, etc., please do not use it and contact customer

9. In case you arrive at a charging station but the charging posts are already booked by other customers, you should proactively give up the charging posts to customers who have booked in advance.

10. Do not charge the battery during heavy rain or thunder.

11. Only use the emergency stop button in unusual situations such as the charging station or the vehicle has a burning smell, fire, or other things beyond control. In that case, you should contact the hotline 028 2213 0553 to receive timely support.
